If you enjoy the possibilities of Wordle but are more interested in solving number puzzles, then Nerdle is the right game for you. The math-based Wordle clone requires players to complete an 8-character calculation using only six assumptions.
What is Nerdle?
Nerdle is an everyday math game that differs marginally from Wordle by substituting numbers and equations for letters and words. The game was created by TheMann0707, a Reddit user. The game was designed with Wordle in mind, and its authors refer to it as "Wordle for math nerds." The game gives you with eight columns of six guesses in which you must daily solve equations. Similar to Wordle, you receive color-coded indications for your predictions that you can use to determine the correct response.
How to play the Nerdle game?
Guess NERDLE in six attempts. The color of the cells will change after each guess to indicate how close you are to the solution. Similar to Wordle, as you guess, the cells will change color to indicate whether you are correct, incorrect, or in the incorrect location. Green brick indicates the correct quantity and placement. Yellow indicates that the substance is in solution but out of place. If a cell turns black, it indicates that it does not contain words.
As the saying goes, takeoff is the most difficult part of flying; the same is true in Nerdle. To begin, generate a random equation utilizing pre-existing numbers and symbols. When an equation is successfully entered, the game displays a colorful response. Does it sound familiar to you? Yes, it works just like Wordle.
Game rules
Every hypothesis relies on a computation.
It is possible to use - 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 + – * / or =.
- It must have one "=".
- It cannot contain a computation to the right of the equal sign.
- Calculate * and / prior to + and –, such as 1+2*3=7 instead of 9!
- If the correct response is 1+2=3, we will also accept 2+1=3. (unless you disable commutative answers in settings).
