Swiftle
Swiftle allows Taylor Swift fans to demonstrate their song-guessing abilities by listening to song excerpts. Each one- to five-second audio clip may be randomly selected from any portion of the song. If you make an inaccurate guess, you can listen to a few further seconds of the song to get closer to the correct response.
How to play the Swiftle game?
If you are familiar with Wordle or Heardle, you will find Swiftle to be intuitive. The game is built on the notion of guesswork. You have six opportunities to identify the correct Taylor Swift song. When you touch the round play button at the top, a one-second snippet of Taylor Swift's song will play. Be sure to listen attentively. If you recognized the song after hearing the clip, congratulations! You're definitely a Swiftie! Now enter the song's title in the box below and press Enter. When you cannot recall the complete title of a song, simply input the word. A drop-down menu will display the complete song title.
Don't worry if you cannot interpret the song. You have five more opportunities. Please feel free to speculate if you are uncertain. Even if you make a mistake, you have five more opportunities to try again. For each incorrect response, one additional second of the music will be added. You also have the option to skip, but would a true Swiftie do so?
Each error will be highlighted in red. If your guess is incorrect and the song is from the same Taylor Swift album, then the song will be tagged with a yellow label. This should hopefully put you in the correct direction. The right response will be marked in green if you choose it.
You will also be presented with a statistics screen detailing the upcoming Swiftie Challenge. There is also a feature that allows you to replay missed puzzles, as well as a difficult mode accessible via the settings menu. Select the date of the preceding Swiftles by clicking on the Calendar button at the top of the page and selecting the date.
