Word Serpent is a unique and tough word puzzle game. Players form words by dragging their mouse across a grid of letters. The game mixes the excitement of word play with the mechanics of moving like a snake, allowing players to be both creative and strategic.
How to play
In Word Serpent, you drag your mouse across letters on a grid to create words. You can go in any direction (horizontal, vertical, or diagonal), and you can even go back and reuse specific letters. The goal is to build the longest possible words in order to get the greatest score. Valid words are marked in green, and invalid words are marked in red.
Tips and Tricks
1. Maximize your score by creating the longest possible words. Long words not only get you more points, but they also help you clear more tiles from the grid.
2. Strategize your movement through the grid. Instead of only producing small words, find methods to mix letters to form longer, more complicated ones
3. Don't be frightened to alter direction. You can travel in any direction and return to reuse the selected letters, giving you more options for creating words
4. Check the Colors: Pay attention to the color indicators as you drag your cursor over the letters. Green signifies that you have constructed a valid word; red shows that the word is invalid.
